Funded Projects

IJ Community Media Group is the not-for-profit Community Interest Company which sits within the IJM Media Group. During the past two years we have successfully won funding from organisations such as the Rural Development Fund, the Big Lottery Fund (Awards for All) and UnLtd. This funding has enabled us to provide many of our education projects free of charge, or at a subsidised rate, to schools and students in disadvantaged areas. During 2009 we ran the project ‘More From School’ which was funded by Awards for All where we delivered media based activities into schools across West Bromwich, Sandwell and Walsall. We are currently in the process of applying for further funding from UnLtd which will enable us to increase this side of our business.
