Llewela BaileyLlewela Bailey has a wealth of experience in broadcasting, having worked in the industry for more than twenty-five years. She's also one of the most familiar faces in regional television, having worked as a main anchor woman for ITV Central in the West and East Midlands for two decades. Llewela's career began in the early eighties when, after completing her journalist training at The London Broadcasting School, she worked for BBC local radio in Northampton and Nottingham, as a reporter and latterly news producer. In 1988, she entered the TV world as a sub-editor for ITV Central, becoming late news presenter in Birmingham a year later. By the mid-nineties she'd joined the main presentation team, and could be seen nightly on the station's flagship programme 'Central Tonight' alongside veteran presenter Bob Warman. Llewela hung up her ear piece with ITV at the beginning of this year, after a couple of years spent as its pan-regional (east and west) presenter. She also fronted Central's political programme 'The Lobby' and 'Central Extra'. Llewela now specialises in producing and presenting corporate videos, compering and media training. |
